Gambling Syndicated Busted In Singapore
A gambling syndicate was bused in Singapore and police are searching for a Singapore Man in his 30´s. The syndicate operated out of a shopfront with bets amounting to RM9. This news comes as many folks are attempting to head off gambling syndicates throughout Singapore.
A gambling syndicate masterminded by a Singaporean and having dealt with bets amounting to RM9 mil over the past six months was busted in Taman Desa Cemerlang last Saturday.
Seri Alam police detained two local women aged 22 and 26, when they raided its operating den at a shophouse about 6pm.
Several fax machines, betting slips, computers and mobile phones were also seized.
Seri Alam police chief Supt Roslan Zainuddin said today that investigations revealed the syndicate dealt with bets four days a week.
He said the police were in the midst of tracking down the mastermind, believed to be in his 30s.
