Ohio allows gambling sort of, what morons.
Ohio has decided to allow Keno Gambling in bars and restaurants but all proceeds will go to the state and winnings will also be taxed by the state. Umm can we say hypocrisy….
Seriously this is moronic.
The state of Ohio has long been unfriendly to casino gambling – especially games of skill, such as electronic games, that would allow privately run casinos to turn a profit.
Now, in the latest turn of events, Ohio governor Ted Strickland has decided to allow keno gambling into the bars and restaurants of the state – but with an important twist: all profits from keno games will go to the state, not business owners. It is a move similar to the way state-run lotteries function, with the state government capturing all proceeds from ticket sales and taxing any winnings that result.
